So my new website’s up and running. It’s been fun to work on - although as ever I’ve had to sneak the time to do it out of everything else that’s been going on - and I hope you’re finding what you want here.
Mind you, I nearly didn’t put a blog into the new site, because of course my Creative Writing blog, This Itch of Writing, has been out and about for a decade. I can’t move it over here because it would break the links for the dozens of MAs and other creative writing courses who send their students to the Itch.
And, besides, over the years the Itch has evolved from being a writer’s blog to being a blog about writing, if you see what I mean. So I’m actually very happy to have this, here, as a place to ponder what’s going on in my writing life.
I’ll be tracking what I’ve been up to (it’s all about to get very busy, what with This is Not a Book about Charles Darwin coming out, and all), flag up what’s coming up (more details over on the Events page), but also the comments will be open, and it’ll be lovely to hear from readers, and writers and friends.
